A Transformational Yoga + Modern Metaphysical Studio
Most of us have been conditioned to believe we have to go to a physical yoga studio in order to properly learn yoga, but the pandemic has taught us that’s not necessarily true.
There’s many different things we’ve learned to accomplish online.
In fact, I received my ENTIRE yoga teacher training online and I had an amazing and supportive experience from beginning to end!
With modern technology, a forward-thinking yoga instructor, and an open-minded perspective, YOU can build a powerful yoga practice in the comfort of your very own home.
To help you get started on your transformational journey, get my FREE PDF GUIDE “The Sacred Space Project” as my gift to help you get your ideal space to practice yoga!
I’ve created life-inspiring series of transformational yoga classes that work with the most critical components of your mind, body, and spirit to help you recognize and release every negative person, place, or thing that has held you back from achieving everything you’ve ever imagined!
Yoga is both an art and a science that originated in India roughly 3,000 – 5,000 years ago (maybe even longer) and was initially considered to be a philosophical or talking practice. But over time, it’s evolved to become more of a mind, body, and spirit practice.
Traditional yoga contains a combination of Hindu, Buddhist, and Jainist beliefs.
However, practicing yoga today doesn’t mean you’re practicing a specific type of religion. Everyone from every belief system is welcome to learn yoga and build their own yoga practice based on their own individual beliefs.
The technical definition of yoga means to “yoke or to unite with the Divine”.
Yoga teaches us how to discover and connect with a Higher Power that aligns with us individually and our particular beliefs in a way that builds an interactive and long-lasting relationship with that deity. That relationship is essential to being able to uplevel and transform into the woman we were created to be and living the life we imagine.
The purpose of developing a yoga practice is to find happiness, success, prosperity and abundance in our everyday life.
The yogi’s originated the idea that YOGA consists of several different types of elements that make up a traditional yoga session, which I’ll explain later, that when implemented regularly can lead us to achieving such a deep connection with our Higher Power that we’re able to recognize and release deeply ingrained trauma and drama and reach a level of consciousness referred to as “samadhi” or pure bliss.
The practice of yoga contains contains the ability to dramatically improve you and your life in a way that nothing else can. You’ll learn how to elevate yourself to a higher level of consciousness filled with peace and awareness that’s far above our everyday consciousness.
All we need to do is be willing to do the work and be open ourselves to the experience.
The following is my personal interpretation of how yoga can help us become the highest version of ourselves and live our best life based on my teacher training, studies, and the personal experiences I’ve encountered through developing my own practice. If you’re brand-new to yoga or never really delved into the philosophy of yoga, it can be very confusing. I hope my experience and explanations bring a better understanding of how yoga works and how it can help you make all of your dreams come true!
As I stated above, yoga was originally created to be a talking therapy.
The yogi’s, who were the spiritual leaders in the community, would regularly travel long distances to go up high in the mountains of India where they would sit and wait to hear important messages from their God. When they were finished, they would come down from the mountain and sit with the people of their community and VERBALLY share the messages they received.
Those messages were believed to contain important information and holy inspiration that could help the community members release any type of negativity they may be dealing with and holding onto and instead FOCUS on creating unlimited happiness, success, prosperity, and abundance. This is a fundamental element of yoga.
The yogis theorized that human beings were not created to suffer, that instead each of us were incarnated to become happy, successful, prosperous, and abundant beyond measure and should focus on developing a harmonious well-being instead of stressing about the future. Hindu culture believes that the key to this harmony is enjoying everything in moderation; from work, to food, to sex, wine, etc. There was a precedent that since we’re ADULTS, we should be able to control ourselves and enjoy the life we’ve been given.
Obviously, this is MUCH DIFFERENT from most religions. And…
They claimed that obsessing over negativity in the form of thoughts, feelings, emotions, people, places, and things can lead to developing stress illnesses, depression, and anxiety eventually causing dis-ease and dis-harmony throughout the mind, body, and spirit. These are the things that prevent us from becoming the highest version of ourselves and living our best lives! But over time, the yogis realized that maintaining this type of moderation wasn’t so easy, if not entirely impossible.
It became known that sometimes the negativity is too intense or too painful for us to release through talking and inspiring messages.
Then years later, between 200 BCE and 200 CE, a book called, “The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali; The Eight Limbs of Yoga” was discovered. Pantanjali was a sage who at the time, delved deep into the ancient Vedic texts and gathered all of the teachings and the philosophies along with his own experience and synthesized everything together to create a BRAND-NEW standard in yoga.
This life-changing book culminated and broke-down all of the extensive yoga knowledge that existed into a more MODERN and EASY TO FOLLOW PERSPECTIVE that changed the face of the practice of yoga forever.
The “Yoga Sutras” as the book is commonly referred to, contains 196 sutras or verses. The word SUTRA is Sanskrit for “suture; a verse, or scripture” in English. For example, the sutras are similar in structure to the scripture we find in the bible that describes all the different ways human beings can live a healthy and prosperous life according to those beliefs.
The sutras are like mini individual teachings.
The 196 Sutras are divided into EIGHT INDIVIDUAL CATEGORIES or “LIMBS” that make up the EIGHT MAIN PRINCIPLES AND PHILOSOPHIES of a yoga session and lifestyle.
Each of the EIGHT LIMBS contain the INDIVIDUAL PRACTICES, BEHAVIORS, AND ACTIONS necessary to help us to release stubborn negativity from the mind, body, and spirit and help us to find what is known as “samadhi” or pure bliss. Samadhi is such a high energetic vibration or frequency that’s equal to the energetic level in which God or the Supernatural resonates at.
How it works is that The Eight Limbs are designed to be and work like the limbs of a tree. They begin at the bottom of the tree trunk which is the widest and most foundational aspect of the tree and progress upwards giving the tree its shape, strength, and resilience. Through the journey upwards, we’re led to assess, uplevel, and transform our actions, attitudes, practices, thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, experiences, health, wellness, and more to become the highest version of ourselves and live our very best life.
Yoga is SO much more than just meditation and a bunch of poses. This book has changed the face of yoga forever.
The Yoga Sutras of Pantanjali have become a critical component in understanding HOW YOGA WORKS and WHAT IT ACTUALLY DOES WITHIN THE MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT to help us release all of our deeply ingrained trauma and drama forever.
Originally written in Sanskrit, the book have been translated multiple times, in multiple languages, by multiple people – most notably and recently, by world-renowned YOGA MASTER, Sri Swami Satchidananda. He has a very simple approach to the Yoga Sutras and relays the information in an eloquent and understanding manner, without getting too wordy.
This is the exact version that I personally studied from and highly recommend purchasing if you’re serious about beginning a yoga practice because it gives you powerful insight about everything that goes into becoming a yogi and creating your own yoga practice.
You can get a copy on Amazon or Amazon Kindle.
ALL of that wisdom and knowledge has inspired me to create specialized series of yoga classes and metaphysical services, rooted from the eight limbs of yoga, that give my clients a methodology and a map to release all of the deeply ingrained trauma ands drama to become the woman we were created to be and manifest the luxury lifestyle we’ve always imagined.
The following below are the eight limbs of yoga along with a very brief description of what they represent. This terminology is in Sanskrit, it may take reading over them and speaking the words out loud a few times before they begin to make sense.
There are HUNDREDS of different styles of yoga that people practice today with brand-new styles being developed everyday. Some of the most popular are: Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Hot Yoga, Kundalini, Yin, Power, Chair, etc.
My personal 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification is in HATHA YOGA and I teach a Hatha / Vinyasa blend.
This combination that’s not only extremely popular for students in all levels of yoga, it’s also an excellent choice for individuals who are brand-new to yoga or have very limited yoga experience.
There are basically Five LEVELS OF YOGA: beginner, level one, level two (intermediate), level three (advanced), and teacher
Currently, my classes are primarily for beginner and level one yoga students. I include the fundamental poses and sequencing weaved throughout my classes to provide the necessary foundation for you to learn and grow from.
My classes are also ideal for experienced yoga students of any level who have been away from the mat for a while due to illness, injury, or other and wish to rebuild their strength, stability, and self-confidence.
My style or specialty is what I refer to as transformational yoga.
This is something I came up through my own yoga awakening and I discovered that I do it differently than other yoga teachers. I refrain from teaching yoga from a purely physical perspective. You’ll see yoga classes for creating flexibility, flattening your stomach, or rounding your butt all of which is fine and all of that will happen naturally through your daily yoga practice.
Instead, I take a holistic approach to yoga and address the woman as a whole and the emotional, psychological, and spiritual issues she is facing. Instead of focusing on a specific area of your body, I choose a specific topic, challenge, or problem you may be facing in the real world and create a series of yoga classes around that issue.
Even when I was teaching the tarot, I created readings and mentor programs for women who came from some of the most damaging and dysfunctional circumstances, because that’s what I know. Those are the environments that I came from.
They are the challenges that I personally faced and overcame so that’s what I direct my energy towards.
There’s no one else that I can find who offers yoga classes like this. This is a transformation on a whole different level and a whole different vibe. I created this transformational beginner brand of yoga for individuals who’ve experienced extensive trauma and drama and wish to release the negative people, places, and things that have held them back from achieving everything they desire.
Through my classes, you learn how to become a genuine spiritual gangster!
I know we see that terminology around but I sincerely mean it. I always wanted to be a boxer so I teach yoga from the perspective that the yoga mat is our battleground. The challenges you face while learning and mastering yoga on the mat transfers out into the real world by giving you the TOOLS + TECHNIQUES necessary to kick-ass in every area of your life like a BOSS!
If you are already a follower of mine you already know that I’ve struggled with an extraordinary amount of trauma and drama throughout my entire life along different illnesses that have seriously impacted my life on multiple levels.
Yoga has helped me to heal from the effects of addiction and alcoholism as well as the fall-out from dysfunctional relationships, my divorce, YEARS of physical and mental abuse, being overweight, having body dysphoria disorder, hiding from severe scarcity issues, dealing money block issues, etc. I was an absolute MESS.
My yoga practice has also helped me to create and expand my self-confidence and self-esteem. I’ve learned how to find and connect to a Higher Power and spiritual team in a way that aligns with me and my beliefs.
I’m working towards releasing the most detrimental emotions and challenged I’ve struggled with like anger, rage, hate, disappointment, and disillusion with myself, my expectations, and my experiences. I also suffer from several physical ailments such as fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome, straightening of the spine, severe osteoarthritis especially in my neck, spine, and hands, and quite possibly MS.
It’s my belief that our trauma and drama caused by repetitive negative experiences throughout multiple lifetimes, intricately weaves itself in and around our mind, body, and, spirit hiding in places where light doesn’t always shine.
As we get older and become less and less confident and self-assured because of the things we’ve endured, we begin to fold ourselves inward. We round our backs, roll our shoulders forward, dip our heads down, wrap our arms around ourselves all in an effort to protect our most precious commodity – out heart. I don’t believe it’s just osteoporosis.
All of this walled-up negativity begins to form dis-ease throughout the mind, body, and spirit leading us to develop actual physical diseases and negatively impact our day to day life. EVERYTHING about us has been poisoned.
Developing a yoga practice helps you to open and use your mind, body, and spirit in a way that you haven’t in a very long time allowing light to shine on areas that have been hidden in darkness for years. Bending, stretching, reaching, breathing, chanting, the mudras, the asanas, each play an intricate role in opening ourselves in a way that brings light to shine on our darkness.
Yoga is HOLY, it’s sacred, and it helps us to connect to a Source greater than ourselves, that aligns with who we are as an individual, often for the first time in our lives.
We learn to create an actual spiritual practice and for many of us, THAT has been the missing piece of our sanctity. We learn to activate, cleanse, and clear our chakras; releasing generations of blocks and obstacles, returning them to their pristine purpose, and allowing them to govern the most integral components of our health and wellness.
We learn how to BREATHE; we learn to open the lungs, connect to our heart and other vital organs, removing the impurities that block our good health. We develop a more positive and empowering mindset, ending the constant negative chatter and begin focusing on positivity, allowing us to attract more good into our lives.
There is SO much that yoga has done to heal me it’s nearly impossible to explain it all.
All I can do is invite you to try it for yourself.
An alternative and HIGHLY BENEFICIAL way to build your very own yoga practice is through what is called a “series”.
A SERIES generally consists of several yoga classes (usually 4 to 6) centered around a particular topic or result delivered over a six week period. But I took the series concept and put my twist on that too.
A traditional yoga session is between 60 to 90 minutes where they go through the entire class from beginning to end. If you’re brand-new to yoga or a level one student, it can be incredibly frustrating to try and keep up. The class can move quickly and the teacher and the rest of the class are five poses in and you’re still in your first Downward Facing Dog.
If you’ve ever experienced that, you know how incredibly frustrating and overwhelming that can be.
Through my own yoga teacher training, I was divinely directed to create a specific style of teaching yoga in a safe and beneficial way over a six week period. This methodology introduces the philosophy and practice of yoga in a way that lessens that stress and overwhelm OF LEARNING SOMETHING NEW while quickly building your confidence as you build your skillset.
THIS PROPRIETARY FORMULA is only being taught at Goddess Imagine.
BUILDING SELF-CONFIDENCE from the beginning with yoga, is SO IMPORTANT because if you’re feeling like it’s too hard, you can’t do it, you don’t look like other yoga girls on their mats, you feel clumsy, you feel fat, or whatever it is for you, that stress and overwhelm can definitely deter you from wanting to get back on the mat. So I knew the lessons had to be easily accessible but also easily obtainable.
We’re busy women. We don’t have time to fuck around. My series format gets you up and on the mat and elegantly flowing through your sessions in just SIX WEEKS! I put myself through the exact same process, multiple times, and personally found this to be the VERY BEST WAY for students to begin and build their individual yoga practice!
Listen, you got this, bitches.
If I can get my ancient ass on the mat let alone ON VIDEO to make videos, YOU can do it too. It’s not hard, but it’s challenging. But good challenges are also good for the soul. They create a strong and resilient mind, body, and spirit which is necessary to finding who you are at a core level and making all of your dreams true.
I have absolute faith you’re going to KICK-ASS and shine like the brilliant and beautiful badass you ald
Why YES! Let’s keep the party going, because today I’m breaking all of the rules.
Another UBER-popular way to practice yoga today, is online! If the pandemic brought us anything positive, it would be HOW to implement and utilize powerful modern technology in ways we never knew possible.
Practicing yoga is one of those ways.
Prior to the pandemic, virtual yoga studios weren’t very popular because the thought had always been that you needed to be PRESENT IN A YOGA STUDIO for someone to personally guide you, offer assists, give corrections, and more. But through my yoga teacher training, I learned you can do all of these things virtually.
In fact, I earned my entire 200 HOUR CERTIFICATION ONLINE through an online yoga school called YOGARENEW and I’m currently working towards my 300 hour YOGA certification, SOUND HEALING certification, and many more certs in the exact same way.
YOGARENEW literally revolutionized the entire yoga industry, during the most difficult time of our lives, by giving entrepreneurs like myself, who suddenly found themselves in dire straits, a dynamic and detailed way to LEARN and MASTER a brand-new skill and build a brand-new business online, in a matter of MONTHS.
Dude.
They found a way to curate and offer the best online yoga courses filled with the most compelling + comprehensive curriculum that included everything I needed to learn and teach yoga AND they provided all of the assistance I needed to be successful
While initially it may have felt counter-intuitive to learn yoga online and become a yoga teacher, true entrepreneurs know how to shift their energy, perspective, and momentum when the chips are down and make shit happen.
In my opinion, it was a true miracle. There was no other way I could have made any of this transformation happen had it not been for a virtual yoga studio! So I tapped into that creative energy and decided to create my very own virtual YOGA BUSINESS. The pandemic may be over but I do know that there’s millions of women just like me who don’t have the time or the opportunity to stop what they’re doing and pop into an actual yoga studio every single day.
In fact, there are multiple reasons that people don’t engage with a standard yoga studio.
Goddess Imagine offers highly inspirational and impactful yoga classes in a virtual format that includes everything you need to build and hone your very own yoga practice from anywhere in the world and create the breakthroughs necessary to release trauma and drama from deep within your mind, body, and spirit! as well as additional
The following are all incredibly valid and practical reasons WHY someone would choose a virtual yoga studio over a brick-and-mortar studio and HOW that choice has the ability to help you become the highest version of yourself and make all of your dreams come true!
I teach yoga differently than most yoga teachers do.
My yoga classes address the woman as a whole with the emphasis on exploring, upleveling, and transforming yourself at a core level.
Each series focuses on a specific emotional, spiritual, or psychological issue alongside the physical body that works to release deeply ingrained blocks and obstacles that have prevented positive progression.
This results in the individual having the ability to move forward in all the ways they desire.

In March of 2023, in the midst of building Goddess Imagine, I was suddenly struck with DROP FOOT in BOTH FEET at the same time.
I was sitting at my desk typing and when I went to stand up from my chair to make dinner, I suddenly couldn’t walk.
I literally could not move my lower my lower legs or my feet. I for sure thought I had a stroke. NOTHING like this had every happened to me like this before. I had no idea what was going on.
After going to the doctors, I had to go through extensive testing and an MRI to determine the cause of the drop-foot and ended up having to walk without a CANE and hard-soled ankle boots for nearly a year.
With drop-foot, you lose the connection of nerves that are in your feet, toes, and lower legs that connect to the area of your brain-stem that controls both voluntary and involuntary function. Drop foot renders you virtually unable to stand up, in an erect position, and walk without falling or feeling like you’re going to fall backwards all the time.
You may want to move your feet and bend your toes, but they’re legit paralyzed. When you lift your foot, it drops, hits the ground, and makes you fall forward. This was devastating for me because I’ve always been a fiercely independent and active woman, not to mention I’m in the process of building a YOGA BUSINESS!
I couldn’t understand WHY this was happening or HOW I was going to go forward.
My paralysis left me unable to do many of the things I loved.
With yoga, it left me unable to do any of the standing balances like the Warrior Poses, Triangle, High Lunge, Half Moon, Wide-Legged Forward Fold, Goddess Pose, and Sun Salutations. I was also unable to do simple floor poses like Balancing Table or Crescent Lunge. I literally could not find ANY balancing ability in my body and I kept falling over on the mat! The paralysis left the tops of my feet and my ankles so stiff, it felt like the bones of my feet were breaking whenever I tried to get into Upward Facing Dog or Child’s Pose,
This was by far the most TRAUMATIZING event I had ever faced. The whole experience left me feeling confused and disorientated.
There were long strands of time I feared that I’d never heal from this. I began to feel depressed all over again wondering what in the world Spirit was doing now. I couldn’t understand WHY I had to go through this when I had already been through so much.
This experience caused me to take about three months off from yoga simply because I couldn’t physically do it and I was afraid I’d fall, break a bone, and seriously injure myself. This put me almost a year behind schedule.
Then one day, I woke up and said SCREW IT, I was going to try yoga again.
After hobbling into my dressing room and putting my yoga clothes on, I grabbed my cane and put the four prong end on the bottom of it. I found my yoga mat and my blocks and prepared for battle. I went online to research doing yoga with a cane. but I couldn’t find anything. There were plenty of chair yoga lessons, but I didn’t want that. I was afraid that if I began to sit down, I’d stay down.
I was determined to heal my legs and walk again and that required standing up. I wrote to my yoga teacher and asked her if she thought I could still teach yoga using a cane while having a disability? That fucking imposter syndrome was creeping in big-time. I was afraid that if I taught yoga with a cane or if my students saw me struggling or falling, they would feel like I was too inexperienced or unable to help them. My teacher told me to go for it! She said if I couldn’t find anything online to create my own formula. So I did.
Every single day began with the mat, it was my FIRST and ONLY priority. I found new ways to use the cane to support myself and I just did my best. I fell down every single time I got on the mat as well. The weirdest issue I had and sometimes still do, is fighting the urge of getting up on my toes and not being able to feel or sink my heels into the mat. I ended up having to relearn yoga on my toes! It was excruciatingly difficult. I was very aggressive with my healing and eventually my feet began to come around.
March 2024 marked ONE YEAR since this happened.
I’ve slowly rebuilt SOME of the neural-pathways of my feet to my brain and can now walk without a cane. I still have residual paralysis in some of my toes, portions of my feet, and lower legs. But I’m able to flex both of my feet on demand.
I still have terrible numbness in my hands and feet, I just try to ignore it.
My primary-care physician was so IMPRESSED and AMAZED with my progress, he FULLY CREDITS MY YOGA for overcoming drop-foot to the level I have. He has FULL FAITH that eventually I’ll completely recover.
My primary focus is still the emotional, psychological, and spiritual aspect of healing and after the initial shock of my disability wore off, I was able to refocus on doing the work I began. My mission never changes. I spent a year creating classes and series, going through each one as I regained my physical strength, and healing the darkest areas of myself.
Every single time we get on the mat, we release another problem, another memory, and another layer or form of negativity. Some of it you’ll remember, some of it you won’t. Either way, it doesn’t matter.
What DOES MATTER is the intention behind your practice.
You’ll just notice that one day you begin to feel differently in that area of life. It’s like when you advance in a yoga pose, one day you couldn’t do it, then the next day, like magick, you’re able to get into a pose that you previously couldn’t. We don’t have to examine every single area of damage to find resolution, it can often happen without us ever knowing.
All we have to do is set the intention and do the work.
Learning yoga has changed everything about me and has put me in the position of feeling powerful, not powerless.
Not only can I walk again, BUT I’ve also lost 20 pounds and dropped down to a size 2. At 57, I look and feel better than I ever have. I used to let everything stress me the fuck out, now I give zero fucks. I’ve released SO MANY suffocating situations from my mind, body, and spirit and I’m INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL for another day to see what’s next.
I find it crazy that such a simple thing like YOGA can help you to completely recreate yourself as a human being and cause you to feel as positive and empowered as I currently do. I sincerely invite you to join me, and begin the process of transformation for yourself.
This is the real deal, bitches. It’s an investment, but it’s totally worth it.
No matter the emotional, psychological, spiritual, or physical challenge you’re facing, learning yoga can improve any condition you face. I’m living proof that yoga can work miracles.

I don’t teach in a physical yoga studio, I teach online virtually through videos.
However, I will be offering LIVE TUTORIAL CLASSES FOR MY STUDENTS who are enrolled in my yoga series and additional programs.
I don’t. That’s traditionally more for those who are enrolled in a yoga-teacher training so everyone is on the same page.
Traditional yoga classes and series don’t really work that way but let me explain the following, what I DO offer, and how you can best prepare so you know what to expect.
There are FOUR levels of yoga classes:
Beginner: is literally someone who is brand-new to yoga and has no prior knowledge. They’re unfamiliar with what technically transpires in a yoga class, the poses, cueing, etc. the student is working to INCREASE their skill in order to advance to more difficult poses.
Level One: a student who has some limited yoga experience. They’ve either been practicing yoga for at least a little while either on their own or in a yoga classroom environment. They have basic working knowledge of what yoga is, how a class runs, what they foundational poses are, and can flow from pose to pose with some stability. The student is working to INCREASE their strength, balance, wisdom, and skill-set in order to advance to more difficult poses.
Intermediate: is a student who has been practicing yoga for a considerable amount of time, either in a studio or at home. They’re well-versed with foundational poses, some advanced poses, and can fluidly move from poses to pose with little or no challenges.
Students have normally branched out to study different styles of yoga and are normally working hard to increase strength, stamina, stability, form.
Advanced: at this point, the student has an extensive yoga resume. They’ve studied yoga for a considerable amount of time, are well-versed in various types of yoga, can participate in class with little to no cuing, and are already teaching classes or preparing to do so. T
They’re strong, confident, graceful, and make yoga look absolutely elegant.
In traditional yoga classes, it’s assumed that EVERY STUDENT has HAD some type of previous experience and many YOGA CLASSES THAT ARE OFFERED are normally to “mixed” experience levels.
The problem with that is, the yoga teachers tend to teach to the more advanced students leaving the beginner and level one students struggling to keep up.
If you’re brand-new to yoga or are at a level one, it’s very important to take classes that are specifically directed towards YOU and your CURRENT SKILL LEVEL, not what you WANT to be or used to be.
This way, you get the absolute most from the session. otherwise you spend a lot of time in Downward Facing Dog or Child’s Pose while the other students move through the intermediate or advanced poses.
HAVING SAID ALL OF THAT, what I DO is provide precise and intricate INSTRUCTION and CUEING to help you GET IN AND OUT OF THE POSE SAFELY, as well as provide alternative poses if you’re not ready for the ones being called, when and how to use blocks, straps, etc.
I also GO SLOWLY and COACH YOU along the way so you can keep up and build your confidence as you’re building skill.
But if you are absolutely new like I was, you’ll want to do some additional study as you take classes. It’s just how yoga it works, everyone has to go through it.
Yes! Of course you can! If you read my origin story, I share how I’d NEVER taken a yoga class in my life and started out in the instructor course.
I believe you can do anything you put your mind too.
Plus my current classes are specifically designed for BEGINNER AND LEVEL ONE STUDENTS making them easier to access and learn from.
But before you begin, I always recommend you speak to your doctor and make sure you are physically able to participate.
YES you can, but with an exception.
If you receive the FIRST WEEK of the class and it’s just not what you think it was or it’s not working for you, whatever the case may be – message me! I’ll be happy to exchange the class for another one for ONE TIME ONLY.
But please remember this, YOGA CAN FEEL INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING AT TIMES, especially when you’re new to it and can initially feel like the class is too hard, maybe too easy, it’s the wrong vibe, it feels funny, etc.
I DO invite you to stick with it and see what happens because we often resist that which we need the most.
EVERY YOGA CLASS has the ability to bring exceptional results regardless if it doesn’t initially feel like it.
However, it after the first session you truly don’t resonate with the vibe, I’ll happily exchange it for another.
Just email me at hello@goddessimagine.com explaining the circumstance and which class you’d like instead, and I’ll make the switch.
THIS is a very important question and I saved it for last.
This is the most important question you can ask and what I can say is that it DEPENDS.
Before you purchase a series or even the introductory Goddess Imagine Reflection Experience, I HIGHLY SUGGEST that you speak with your doctor.
Because you will be required to sign a LIABILITY WAIVER saying that if you have a medical condition that YOU, the STUDENT, have spoken with your primary care physician or physician who is treating your medical condition and are CLEARED TO BEGIN YOGA and that you’re not holding me responsible, IN ANY WAY, for any injuries that you may incur.
By signing the waiver it’s assumed that you have spoken to your physician and you are cleared to practice. So please make sure you do!
And let me say this if you do have any type of the following:
+ cancer
+ heart disease
+ heart attack
+ stroke
+ history of blood clots
+ deep-vein thrombosis
+ high blood pressure
+ diabetes
+ excessive bleeding
+ vertigo
+ chronic headaches
+ spinal issues – curvature of the spine, bulging and herniated disks
+ hernias of ALL types
+ dementia
+ broken bones
+ recent surgery
+ Multiple Sclerosis
+ ANY OTHER MAJOR HEALTH PROBLEMS NOY IST
You’ll definitely WANT TO GET MEDICAL CLEARANCE so you can practice safely and you’ll know what to look out for if a problem develops. It’s the SMART THING TO DO.
Now having said ALL of that, it will depend on your physician. My doctor cleared me and told me to try what I could reasonably address.
Yoga is extremely helpful and healing to a myriad of issues, but you have to be careful. Yoga also requires the usage of your entire body, and if you’re weak in any area, you will have to build up muscle and strength.
You’ll feel much better knowing you’ve had the conversation and hopefully your PCP will give you things to look for so you can confidently participate.
An ounce of prevention is definitely worth your piece of mind and being able to open fully to the practice.
PLEASE READ THIS: If you LIE TO ME and sign the waiver that YES you’ve received clearance and you really haven’t, then YOU my dear, are assuming responsibilities for any possible injuries that may occur holding me harmless and unable to sue.
You become 100% liable for ANY and ALL injuries you may incur holding ME, Krysten Burkhardt-Hansyn or Goddess Imagine harmless and free from damages.
I can’t check confirm your clearance because of HIPPA laws. One thing I can say about yoga and working with a teacher, we work to develop a level of trust and I have to trust you’ve done the right thing.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING MEDICAL CLEARANCE.
I was also a yoga virgin, like Krysten, but I was someone who really wanted to try yoga for most of my life. I just always felt self-conscious going into a yoga studio because I’ve gained so much weight after having my kids and never took it off.
I never felt comfortable in yoga pants and was always afraid I’d be the biggest person there.
But after trying Krysten’s introductory yoga session, not only was it easy to follow, I could see Krysten also had physical limitations she was working through and it made me feel way more comfortable about myself and my size! Now I do yoga every single day, I’m down 22 pounds, and I bought my FIRST pair of yoga pants! Like Krysten says YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO! I’m recreating who I am from the inside out and I’m using yoga to make it happen. I never believed ANY of this could be possible!
